> Hey Y'All,
>
> Greetings from NOLA! An interesting day for sure, and very lonngggg. I got out to the fairgrounds by about 2:00. I received Michelle's call and met her and the Colorado crew 40 Feet to the Schools side of the SBD. Eric Scott really enjoyed himself and actually wasn't even obnoxious for a change. Is he turning over a new leaf? After about 25 Miller Lites, I thought we were doomed. Richie Rich, Dave, Julian, Kim and the crew had a great time. Always a pleasure to hang with such a fine gentleman as Frank Kossen, Booyeah! Zee and Murray hung with us until Zee wanted to leave early, hunger pains.

> After seeing a bunch of intimate, small setting shows, it took a few songs to get adjusted to the wind-swirled sound. We just knew the Fish20 was the opener. The first 5 or 6 songs didn't grab me, but once they hit Hank Parsons, we were rollin'. The Drivin' sandwich and the Low Spark sandwich, were very nice to experience. Kim is still waiting for the boys to go back into Drivin'! JB did mess up the second verse. I said to Richie Rich, that Low Spark seemed too short. His reply, they will go back to it, and yes they did. The Love Tractor was supposed to be the encore after they were to close with Bowl Legged. We still got our money's worth with a 2 1/2 set! The Better Than Ezra set was Worse than Ezra for Eric. Another Guilded, as they played it last weekend. It was a very sinister version. I am surprised by the number of big nugget repeats during the tour. Keeps everyone guessing and coming back for more.
