> I have been on a dry spell since seeing Ripplefest 15 days ago. I decided to drive up to Michigan after a full day in the office. I stopped by Whole Foods for a pre-show snack. Got there at 7:20 for the 7:30 show. I scored a 21st row ticket for $15.00 and went in. No pat down or detectors. I hit the rest room and wired up. CC Adcock, from Lafayette, La. opened a bit after 7:45. It was a duet and they were entertaining. Lots of Creole tunes.

> Lucinda hit the stage to a boistrous Sunday night crowd, lots of howlers! I have only seen her a handful of times. She did a few of her standards and a bunch of new tunes. She has written 24 new ones over the past 12 months. I enjoyed the Sweet Baby, What If, Jailhouse Tears, and a great cover of Bobby Gentry's Ode to Billy Joe. CC Adcock was invited up to join on a few songs. She came out for a second encore and I had to switch tapes on the fly, nothing got missed though. Here is how it went down:
