> Hey Y'All,

> Sorry for the delay as I have had 7 long days of hell at work.

> Long day it was! I got up after a 3 hour nap at 9:00. Tim and Stacey, who were to host a party at 1:00, were still out cold. With the prospect of a houseful of folks coming to party, eat, and drink, I began cooking. The beans were now in the oven. I put togehter a rib rub out of various findings in Tim's kitchen. I slow cooked them in the oven prior to finishing them on the grill. Tim and Stacey regained consciousness at about 10:30. Jim pitched in and gave me a hand in the kitchen. Tim whipped up some tasty cornbread. By 1:15, the first batch of ribs were done as guests began to arrive. Allegra was one of the arrivals, and I can't thank her enough for helping me in the kitchen, outside on the grill, and cleaning up(yes, there was a mess). After the first batch of ribs, we saw a hellacious storm. Thunder, lightning, hail, rain coming down sideways, etc.! It blew over and cleared up. Turns out we had a nice gathering. Jim, Melissa, and I hit shots of Patrone during cooking. Off to the show.

> We met Dave, Karen, Mindy, and Charles in the lot and headed in. Another night with a great seat, thanks to Mike A! We set up shop in about the 12th row. As the boys took the stage and began playing, I heard that familiar drum beat to my favorite, DINER! What more could I have asked for to be graced by Ms. Lee! After a short Thin Air, we heard the new From the Cradle. Not sure as this was our first one. The Wonderin'(with JB layin' down some nasty slide licks) led into a great setcloser, Georgia on a Fast Train. I really like this one, as I said when I heard it at New Years. John Keane joined the boys for the last 4 songs of the set. After a 43 minute break, they opened with Old Neighborhood. I wouldn't say this was my favorite opener, I have heard this song too many times. Whatever happened to New Blue? Pigeons got things jumping before segueing into Good People. This song got a new makeover! At first, I was not 100% sure it was Good People. After 2 1/2 minutes, it sounded like they may be going into a different song. I was also hearing some Ride Me High riffs in there. The jam out of Rebirtha was stellar! leading into what i called, Hatfield. After Drums and Jam, we got a Ribs and Whiskey. I couldn't help but look at Stacey and Tim, our hosts earlier today at the 2nd Annual Ribs and Whiskey Party! They were beaming. We saw the Soldano amp from jump, and knew it was a matter of time before we saw our good friend Sam Holt join in on the fun. He assisted the boys with a sick Machine>Barstools! George was complimenting Sam by playing some mean slide riffs. That was as close as you can get to the old Panic sound! Wow! A long Ride Me High with Keane on steel guitar made it's way into the set ender, Give. I guess I am the only person not in locve with that one. It has changed from a 2 1/2 minute song, into a 5 minute song. An interesting choice of songs for the encore. I totally dug the Don't Be Denied! the tradeoff between Jojo and the B3, and Keane on steel was priceless! Basically a 2 hour 2nd set. The playing was on the mark tonight. Very consistant. Some of the highs were not coming through in the mix tonight. jim and I noticed that during the show.

> We had E Scott in the house tonight! I was most impressed by him if you can believe it. He ran a 1/2 marathon in the morning and drove up for the show. I did not see him drink a beer as he is in training for a full marathon in San Diego next month. Equally impressive is the fact he blew off a Better Than Ezra show to see Panic! Is this really the Eric Scott we all know and love? Great hangin' with Martin, Ray and Shelly, Jono, Carrington, and Pepper in our row. Also great to hang with .Charles and Mindy, Jim, Craig and Kucy, Brien, Joe W., Chip, Sara, Nick, Robbie, Bill and Kitty, Heather, Jayson, Causey, Frank, Kristin(unattached), Flynn and Heidi, Melissa, Lara, Tim and Stacey, Prosseroo, Darryl, Barry the Blade, Ashley B., Marcus, Tito, Innis, Dave and Karen, Rob and the Houston crew Great seeing the Mohlmans as well! Nothing beats good friends and good music! So here we are 50% of the spring tour is over. A great 2 nights of Panic! The Fox is gonna rock!!!
